In response to this article, I have to say that I think Target is definitely out of touch. I understand that many, many people watch television (duh) and listen to to radio, and that these are main channels for Target to reach out to potential customers...But do they think that the internet is not an important medium for communicating? What percentage of Americans would one say do NOT access the internet on a regular basis? How many of the ones who do get on the internet regularly have a blog or the equivalent thereof?
I would say that Target needs to wake up and hear the incessant keyboard-tapping hordes. The blogosphere is definitely an important means of communicating. They should stop ignoring it simply because of what they define it as.
